Four stages. You are actively needed in two of them.

Your team agrees the video list and approves the scripts. Recording, editing, voiceover, captions, and revisions happen without a single entry in your calendar.

Before stage one

Three things, and we can start.

No kickoff workshop, no discovery deck, no brand questionnaire. These are the only inputs a project genuinely cannot start without.

Product access

A sandbox, demo tenant, or staging account with realistic data in it. We record the real interface, so we need to be able to reach every screen the script touches — including the settings and error states users hit.

Brand assets

Logo files, fonts, colour values, and any existing intro or end card. If you have a tone-of-voice guide or an existing video you like, send that too. If you have none of it, we will propose something and you approve it once.

A named approver

One person who can approve a script without assembling a committee. This is the single biggest factor in whether a project lands on schedule. Everyone else can comment; one person decides.

The four stages

What happens, and what it costs you in time.

Stage 01

Scope

We turn a vague sense that “users are confused” into a specific list of videos with a defined job each.

Duration
3–5 business days
Your time
Active — review and approval required

What happens

  • You tell us where users get stuck: the support tickets that repeat, the onboarding step where accounts stall, the feature nobody found.
  • We work through the product ourselves and map those problems to concrete tasks a video can teach.
  • Each task becomes one video with a named audience, a target length, and a defined start and end state.
  • We flag anything that should not be a video — some problems are a tooltip or a copy fix, and we will say so.

What we need from you

  • Access to a sandbox, demo tenant, or staging account
  • Your support ticket themes, or a rough list of problem areas
  • A named approver who can sign off without a committee

What you receive

  • A written video list with a purpose and target length per video
  • A fixed price per video and a delivery schedule
  • A recommendation on what to produce first and what can wait
Stage 02

Script

Accuracy is won here. A wrong click costs a line of text now and a full re-record later.

Duration
5–10 business days
Your time
Active — review and approval required

What happens

  • We write every video as a script: the narration and the exact click path it describes, side by side.
  • We run the click path in your product to confirm it works as written, including the error states users actually hit.
  • Terminology is standardised across the whole set so “workspace” does not become “project” three videos later.
  • You review and approve. This is the last cheap moment to change direction, so we ask for real scrutiny here.

What we need from you

  • One consolidated round of feedback from your named approver
  • Corrections on product terminology and anything factually wrong
  • Brand assets: logo files, fonts, colour values, and any tone guidance

What you receive

  • A script per video with narration and click path in one document
  • A flagged list of anything ambiguous in the current UI
  • Approval on record, so nothing gets recorded from a guess
Stage 03

Record & edit

The longest stage, and the one you are not needed for. We record, cut, voice, and caption from the approved script.

Duration
10–15 business days
Your time
None required

What happens

  • We capture the approved click path inside your real product — not a mockup, not a prototype.
  • The edit does the teaching: zooms on the click that matters, callouts on the field being filled, and everything irrelevant cut out.
  • Voiceover is recorded and timed to the action, so the narration and the cursor agree.
  • Your branding, captions, chapter markers, and end cards go on last, consistently across the set.

What we need from you

  • Nothing scheduled. No calls, no availability, no on-camera time.
  • Access to stay live for the recording window
  • A reply if the product changes mid-stage, so we re-record rather than ship something stale

What you receive

  • A first cut for review, delivered as a shareable link with timestamped comments
  • Two revision rounds included
  • A near-final cut before anything is exported
Stage 04

Deliver & maintain

You get publish-ready files you own, and a library structured so the next UI change is a re-cut, not a rebuild.

Duration
2–3 business days, then ongoing
Your time
None required

What happens

  • Final files are exported in the formats and aspect ratios agreed at scope.
  • Captions ship burned-in and as sidecar files, with a written transcript for each video.
  • Ownership transfers on delivery. Source project files are handed over on request.
  • The library is versioned, so each video's segments can be replaced individually later.

What we need from you

  • Where the files should go: a drive, a bucket, or your video host
  • A heads-up on planned UI changes, if you know they are coming

What you receive

  • MP4 masters at 1080p or 4K, plus any additional cuts
  • Caption files, transcripts, and thumbnails
  • Full ownership, with no licence fee and no per-view charge

After delivery

Your UI will change. The library is built for it.

Segmented from the start

Each video is cut into labelled segments matching the steps in its script. A change to step four touches step four only.

Versioned, with a change log

Every re-cut is versioned so you know which videos reflect which release, and which ones are due for an update.

Included in ongoing production

Monthly plans cover a set number of re-cuts. One-off projects can request them at any point — quoted per segment, not per video.

Or handled by your own team

You own the source project files. If you would rather do the re-cut in-house, nothing in the delivery stops you.

Start at stage one.

Send us the product and the tasks users get stuck on. Scoping costs nothing and gives you a video list, a length for each, and a fixed price.
